The hotel was formal and perfect, and the staff were superfriendly, liked the incredible location short walk to shopping district, restaurants and historical sites, bus stops to major sights and Close to centre of town. I was offered a marvellous breakfast for the overall quality.

Was a superb base for trip. Thanks very much all for a real good stay for third night. The location of the hotel was decent, in the centre of the city. Moreover, it's not far from bus stops, many Kyoto attractions and the main shopping areas. The exceptionally helpful staff gave us a nice welcome.

The breakfast was sensational and there were plenty of options. Had a really great stay by more than 30 $ a night, would stay there again.

I had a double room included with a book as well as all comforts.

The location of this hotel is really good, just about 5 minutes from the Shijo/Karasuma intersection. It may be a bit far from the city center, but it is well connected by public transport, which makes it convenient for exploring the city. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. The staff is friendly and the basic amenities are provided. Additionally, the breakfast in the restaurant is good, although a bit pricey.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was great, no improvements needed.

We had an amazing breakfast here with a wide selection of both European and Japanese dishes. The location was perfect, being on a main street but still quiet enough for a peaceful sleep. As backpackers, the affordable prices allowed us to indulge in traditional Kyoto food.

It was centrally located in Kyoto, so it was easy getting to Nijo-jo and the shopping area of Kawaramachi. It is very close to a couple of bus stops and reasonably close to the subway station, which is about 2 stops away from Kyoto Station. The hotel also felt very clean. Wifi was included.

While I was expecting the beds to be hard, I was surprised by how hard they were. I could feel the springs in the mattress while I slept.

Good position, just 10 min walking from pontocho and 2 stops from train station; staff very kind, as usual in japan; you can find the one day bus pass directly at the reception.

Overall had very good stay by more than 30 $ a night. The hotel's location was nice, close to tube station nice staff with the main shopping centre and a shopping mall within walking distance.

Good sized units for four adults in separate beds, we liked it. We had an electric kettle and fridges in the room.
